“Coach Portillo has had a tremendous positive effect on my son and his team’s development over the past season. He is engaging and encouraging with great technique and expertise. His ability to explain the game to young players and connect with them is wonderful to watch in action. A great coach and a great person, my son has benefited greatly from his time with him on the pitch. Highly recommended!”

“Coach Michael has been instrumental in my daughter’s soccer development. He instilled a strong understanding of the game and foundation in all of the girls and my daughter is a confident and well rounded player because of him and his coaching philosophy. Coach Michael is a positive and inspiring youth coach!”

Giles Family

Parent

“Coach Michael’s training sessions are both fun and challenging, helping the kids improve their skills and confidence on and off the field. He encourages hard work but always keeps the experience enjoyable.”

Rahul

Parent

“My daughter has played soccer since she was 3 years old. She always played with the same group of girls. When we decided to move over an hour away we had to find a team for her. We found a new team and Coach Michael was her new coach. He worked hard to help her fit in with the other girls on the field. Made her feel as if she was always part of the team and never left out. Coach Mike always makes his players feel confident on the field. He sees an error and uses it as an opportunity to teach the kids from it to make them better players.”

Erica

Parent

“Coach Michael was an amazing coach! He was supportive and enthusiastic to the entire team. At every practice and game, he displayed leadership qualities with his exceptional soccer skills, game knowledge, athletic mental support, and promoted field communication among every player. My daughter needed extra support with her confidence and positivity, and Coach Michael gave her the encouragement she needed to be the great player she is today! He has been greatly missed as her coach and there needs to be more coaches like him! Thank you, Coach Michael!”

Randazzo Family

“Coach Michael creates a positive and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable learning and growing in their soccer skills. He focuses not only on technique but also on teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence-building. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about each player’s development and enjoyment of the game.

If you’re looking for a coach who is fantastic with young athletes, Coach Michael is the perfect choice!”
